Liquid AI Launches RIPL Real-Time Inference Engine for Sub-50ms LFM Latency

Liquid AI has introduced RIPL, a real-time inference engine purpose-built for its Liquid Foundation Models (LFMs) that targets sub-50 millisecond response latency for production deployments. LFMs are Liquid AI's non-transformer architecture models, and RIPL is designed to exploit their architectural properties to achieve latency profiles that standard transformer serving stacks cannot match. This positions Liquid AI competitively for latency-sensitive applications such as real-time voice assistants, streaming code completion, and interactive agents where 50ms is often a hard UX ceiling. For developers currently bottlenecked by inference latency rather than model quality, RIPL represents a viable path to meeting real-time interaction requirements without sacrificing model capability. The engine's release signals that alternative architectures are now mature enough to deliver production inference infrastructure alongside the models themselves.
